Career subsequent to MSc Built Environment (Proj Mgt)
Manqoba Soni started his career in 2000 as a Construction Project Manager/QS for Murray & Robert M.E.I. He then worked for the National Department of Public Works (NDPW) as a Project Manager from end 2002 to beginning 2005. From beginning of 2005 toward the end of 2005 he worked for TFMC as a Project Manager. In 2006 He went back to NDPW as a Deputy Director: KAM (Projects, Properties and Facilities Management). In 2008 He joined South African Social Development as a Manager: Facilities Management. Beginning of 2010 He joined the City of Johannesburg (Infrastructure and Services Department) as a Director: Projects.
Qualifications obtained the N.Dip Building in 2001 (DUT), B-Tech Constr Mgt (TUT) in 2003 and the MSc Built Env (Proj Mgt) (NMMU) in 2010. He is also a full member of the CIOB (MCIOB) and the candidate of the SACPCMP (CCPM).
